Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026. Subject to change.
1. Who we are
PLAS Research Solutions LLC, a Colorado limited liability company (“PLAS”, “we”, “us”), operates the website plasrs.com (the “Website”). You can contact us at info@plasrs.com or by post at 110 16th St Ste 1460, Denver, CO 80202.
2. In short
This Website provides information about PLAS Research Solutions. It has no user accounts, does not run third-party analytics scripts or advertising trackers, and does not sell personal information. We receive personal information mainly when you contact us. Our hosting provider also processes technical data to deliver and protect the Website and provides us with aggregate traffic statistics.
3. Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you write to us or use a request form, we receive what you provide: for example your name, email address, organization, role, the content of your message, and any files, documents or technical details you choose to attach or include. The request forms on this Website open your own email application with a pre-filled message; nothing reaches us until you send that email yourself.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., processes technical data when you visit the Website, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. This is needed to deliver the Website and protect it against abuse. Cloudflare also provides us with aggregate traffic and security statistics (for example numbers of requests and visits, pages requested, countries, browser and device types). We use them to operate and protect the Website and to understand its general use, not to identify individual visitors.
- Cookies. We do not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and do not run third-party analytics scripts on the Website. Our hosting and security provider may use strictly necessary technical measures, which may include cookies, to deliver and protect the Website. If we introduce analytics, marketing tools or non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Please do not send patient information, protected health information or other sensitive personal data through the Website or by email.
4. How we use information
- to respond to your inquiries and to evaluate and manage requests to take part in pilot projects or to receive samples;
- to prepare and perform agreements with you, such as confidentiality or material transfer agreements;
- to screen prospective collaborators and recipients of materials, including export-control, sanctions and restricted-party checks, and to assess whether a request is for research or evaluation use;
- to operate, secure and maintain the Website;
- to comply with legal obligations, including export control and regulatory requirements, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests (responding to business inquiries, assessing collaboration requests and keeping the Website secure), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to comply with legal obligations, and, where applicable, with your consent.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:
- service providers that help us operate, namely email and productivity services (Google Workspace) and hosting, DNS and security services (Cloudflare);
- shipping and logistics providers, when we ship materials under a written agreement;
- professional advisers, such as legal, accounting and intellectual-property advisers;
- authorities, where the law requires it; and
- a successor, in the event of a business transaction.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and in other countries. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above:
- general inquiries that do not lead to an agreement: for a period needed to handle the inquiry and any follow-up;
- correspondence and records relating to an agreement, a shipment of materials or a pilot: for the term of the agreement and the period needed for legal, regulatory, export-control and record-keeping obligations and for the establishment or defence of legal claims;
- technical logs: retained by our hosting provider in accordance with its own policies.
After that we delete or anonymize the information.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the EEA, the UK or California), and to the extent the applicable law grants them, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, write to info@plasrs.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. Email and the open internet are not fully secure; please do not send confidential or sensitive information by email before a written agreement is in place.
11. Third-party links
The Website contains links to third-party websites and services, for example Google Maps for directions. When you follow such a link, your request is handled by that third party under its own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
12. Children
The Website is intended for researchers and professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new date. If a change is material, we will highlight it on this page.
